Recruitment performed within the company is at times very expensive and getting the right candidate for the job opening is a lot of hard work and obviously the goal of good recruiting. For recruitment every time there is chance of improving your recruitment skills to get the best recruitment within time and cost saving as well.

To know the best about yourself or your recruitment process/skills you have to evaluate yourself on certain aspects like other marketing techniques. As for recruitment you perform various activities like posting job ads with job description, use general media for communicating and after selection/short listing you choose the best person for that job. Similarly, there are some points that can help you evaluate your business image/recruitment process.

Some of them are as follows:

1) Attracting the Right Candidates:

  • Quality & Quantity: There may be times where you can get quality candidates may be 1-100 and some time no one is suitable for the job. So are you able to get both the things fulfilled in terms of quality and quantity.
  • Decision Making.
  • Improvement Scope.

2) Cost Effective Approach:

This is in regards to the media that you have chosen for approaching the candidates and advertising the job posting. Is it cost effective or there is scope of improvements in this.

3) Organizational Image:

This is in respect to the image of your organization in lieu of the recruitment process. Are you known within your industry? How applicants consider/respond to your job opening? How do you sell your business to them?
